Kat, I'm so glad you know this feeling! Whenever I get it, I want the rest of the world to go away and let me just write. The world usually does not comply, but at least I am far more productive than I would be otherwise.
Thanks, Carole! I think I'll just stick to goofy poetry. Takes the pressure off.
The Mother, Jeff, and Susan, thanks for the encouragement! I did use the time as wisely as I could, and finished the end yesterday.
Walking Man, you know I'll visit whenever I can. Thanks for the little snippet of poetry, too!

I know this feeling well.
ReplyDeleteLoved it, more please.
ReplyDeleteGo for it!
ReplyDeleteI've got a blog
ReplyDeleteyou know where it is.
Get there when

itches scratched.
That isn't communicable is it?
Write, write, write! Can't waste that feeling when you get it. :)
ReplyDeleteAs Faulkner said: "When my horse is 'runnin' good, I don't stop to feed it sugar."
ReplyDeleteWrite away... and hope you find the muse waiting.
